2020年春のエベレストは、コロナの影響で中止となりました。2021に延期の方向で準備してきましたが、コロナの状況は依然先が読めません。
ネパール政府は登山者やトレッカーの全面受け入れを開始していますが、日本政府は現実を無視して表向きオリンピックを開催する方向です。政府がオリンピックを開催すりと言っている限り海外旅行はなかなかむずかしいでしょう。
中国側エベレストは、今年が中国共産党１００周年といことでエベレストで１００周年イベントを開催すると思われます。2008年の北京オリンピック同様、外国人をシャットアウトするでしょう。
ネパール側からの登山は、帰国後２週間自主隔離をうけいれることができれば実施可能です。しかしながら社会の目を無視して登山を実施しても社会的評価を得ることはないでしょう。堂々と結果発表したいものです。
２月一いっぱい様子を見るつもりでしたが、酸素やシェルパの手配はギリギリの時期を迎えています。
つきましては苦渋の決断んではありますが、本日正式に２０２１年春のエベレストは中止いたします。

Climbing from the Nepalese side is possible if you can receive voluntary quarantine for two weeks after returning to Japan. However, even if you ignore the eyes of society and carry out mountain climbing, you will not get a social evaluation. I would like to announce the results proudly.
I was planning to see the situation all February, but the arrangement of oxygen and Sherpa is nearing the end.
